just wondering where you can delete your own account or does a staff person have to do that?
We don't disable accounts just because a person doesn't want to come here anymore under most circumstances. The best thing to do if you don't like coming here is simply not to log in anymore. I'm sorry you couldn't find something worth using the website for, but I suppose it's like anything else in life. Sometimes we find things that we enjoy, and other times not.
I'm also sorry you found nothing on this site. granted there can be some sillyness here, but dig a little and there are sensible people here.

Wow Kevin why are you like that? Damn it. I fail to see the reason why you say this post is attention seeking - which by the way is spelled S-E-E-K-I-N-G-. The user was just posting a legitimate question, he wanted to know the procedure to delete his account, I don't see anything wrong with that. If you have nothing of consequence to add to a topic, how about just saving your words instead of putting other people down, eh?
Lol ... why must everything, absolutely every last tiny insignificant thing, be made into such a production on this site? From what I've seen of him on the boards, I honestly could not care less whether or not Queso-Pig decides to stay, but he did ask a legitimate question. I've seen a few posts from people talking about leaving, and in those posts they didn't mention any real reason for making them except that they wanted to let everyone know. That, to me, is what's attention-seeking, as everyone they care about should know anyway, and others will figure it out when they don't log in again. This post was just made to ask a question, and to me, it's not especially attention-seeking. *shrugs*

If you are looking for a legitimate answer, kc8pnl answered you in post two.
If you are looking for attention, well you've gotten that.
However, be aware that the problem with anounced goodbyes is that you might want to come back some day and it might be harder to do if you've anounced that you hate the place and all its inhabitants. However, this is a pretty forgiving group--or maybe it's just forgetful.

well, there such a thing as free speach. this is going off the topic here but i gotta say this.
they reason you can't say some things here is because J has a lot of liability running a site like this.
put yourself in j's shoes once and imagine running a site. that's why there is a terms of service and things of that nature to protect people on this site. I think this is a fair site. all the cls and admins do there jobs vary well and they put up with a lot of shit.
For the record, Selena Fan was not banned due to standing up for herself. The issue was a clear-cut ToS violation.

" attention seeking? He didn't even say anything ugly about the zone, just asked for the procedure to unsub. He didn't say it had anything to do with the people or a problem with anything, just that he needed to know how to delete an account if he wanted to. Not sure how so much got read into that. Perhaps there is a history here with which I am not familiar, but some of the responses seem so attacking and unnecessarily hateful. **Shrugs.
Perhaps people do read in to things a bit much around here.
You don't delete your account you just don't come on here anymore and there you go.
If you really want it to get delete I guess you could violate the terms and conditions on here but I don't recommend that.

I guess to good ole Black Tird, if you say you're leaving, that's acting in true Eric Cartman fashion and saying, "screw you guys, I'm goin home!No one's willing to admit it but I think a vast majority of folks on here are just bored so they believe creating drama, or putting others down because it sounds like fun seems to be the norm.
